Liver Detoxification

With all of the toxins that people are exposed to in this day and age, the question is no longer are you toxic, but rather how toxic are you? This is why detoxification has become a key component of optimal wellness. By detoxifying the body, you can remove unwanted compounds from the body such as toxins and inflammatory molecules. You can almost look at detoxification as a way to return the body back to its “original factory settings.” By giving your body a break from all the junk, you can actually overcome most imbalances. Your body has remarkable healing systems, which can easily be activated by taking out all the bad stuff and replacing it with good stuff. Detoxification can help restore normal processes and strengthen your overall health.

Food Sensitivity Test

According to the Food Allergy Research and Education organization, approximately 15 million Americans have a food allergy, including 1 in 13 children. Some of the most common food allergies are to wheat, dairy, nuts, and shellfish. Symptoms of a food allergy range from shortness of breath to upset stomach to anaphylaxis.

Food intolerance, however, is much more common than food allergies. An intolerance can include several symptoms including behavioral problems, skin disorders, fatigue, digestive issues, headaches, and obesity. In fact, as much as 70-80% of the U.S. population has some sort of food intolerance. The problem is, many people are treated for their symptoms and not the cause. This is why we administer food sensitivity tests to find the root of the problem, and help patients better understand their food allergies or intolerance.
